Kids at the controls!

International Children's Day, which is celebrated on June 1 is not just a holiday, but it is also a call to all people on the planet do not forget about the children's rights to life and a happy childhood.

For the international airport "Orenburg" the young generation is future passengers and after the traditional interesting guided tour to the aviation museum and on board of aircraft it is likely that they are our future aviators!

This year a special "children's crew" invited to the event organized for the International Children's Day to the SUE of Orenburg region "Orenburg Airport" consisted of pupils from Educational non-profit organization Diaconical Centre "Prikosnovenie" ("Touch").

More than twenty children from the "Touch" arrived at the airport "Orenburg" to see aircraft equipment in the aviation museum. Hour tour inside and outside various types of aircraft, organized by the staff of airport Orenburg for children with peculiarities and autism is a great and unforgettable experience for them.

SUE of Orenburg region "Airport Orenburg" traditionally pays attention to children following the good idea of patriotic education and fulfilling its social mission. So, in 2015 there were a variety of arrangements where orphanages of Orenburg region participated actively. They were dedicated to the International Children's Day that is celebrated on June 1. A drawing competition for the 85th anniversary of Airport "Orenburg" was held.

Within the framework of activities for children with mental disorder and autism and together with the director of Educational non-profit organization Diaconical Centre "Prikosnovenie" ("Touch") N.A.Kaliman a drawing contest “Airport and aircraft” was held and an exhibition and sale in the terminal building.

Educational non-profit organization Diaconical Centre "Prikosnovenie" ("Touch") works with children and teenagers with mental disorders and autism since 2003. More than 188 families annually receive professional help with children with severe disabilities.
